Information Regarding Coronavirus

“E hara taku toa, i te toa takitahi, he toa takitini”
My strength is not as an individual but as a collective

Ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests, staff and wider community is of primary importance. We are following official advice from the Government and monitoring updates closely. We are committed to providing a safe and clean accommodation experience that puts people first and have put rigorous cleaning and hygiene procedures in place. We follow the guidance of the Ministry of Health and our guests do not require to present their My Vaccine Pass when they book the accommodation as a private group hire.

For ‘venue’ style bookings, i.e. weddings & events, there may be capacity limits depending on vaccinations, vaccine pass requirements and which colour setting is in place at the time of the event. The guest rather than us as an establishment are therefore able to make the decision on running their event under each level of the framework, and vaccine passes may be required for your event to go ahead depending on the colour setting in place.

Our operational policy document is in place  to meet requirements of operating under the Covid Protection Framework.

No matter the level/colour setting in place we do continually work away behind the scenes with our past & future guests,  planning social re-interactions, retreats and weddings with people from around Aotearoa and the world.

Our cancellation policy regarding Covid-19 is below;

Domestic travellers

If domestic travel is not possible because of localised lockdowns, any deposits or payments may be one time transferred to another date within 6 months of your original date of arrival.

International travellers

International travellers are welcome to make a reservation from 1st May 2022 onwards but please note the 25% non-refundable deposit remains non-refundable.

Please note these policies are for direct bookings only. If you have made a booking made via a third party i.e. Booking.com, Expedia or Airbnb their own policies will be honoured.
