The doors of Oasis officially on 1st February 2018! We did have 2 amazing guests join us a day earlier than expected as they were caught by hurricane Gita whilst hiking Te Araroa! For Summer 2020 we have a added a most fabulous Tipi to our fleet!
The Tipi is a truer reflection of Glamping as it does not have insulation however do not let this put you off the Tipi is naturally warm, it has lovely wool carpet and one of our Dyson Jet Focus Hot/Cool systems
We have furnished the Tipi with the same hotel luxuries as all of our Yurts – clothes rack, power outlets, bedside lamp and tables, plus a solid wooden bed, NZ made mattress, wool duvet & quality linen.

We do of course provide all training and will happily open/close the roof vents and rain catcher for you if this is outside of your comfort zone.

The walls are made from earth sourced from the Cardrona Valley and formed using rammed earth technique. Timbers used for the large trusses are NZ Oregon and the soffits & sarking Macrocarpa.
